I thought Sammy FIRED the Waborita's

I had heard that the Wabboritas were canned also, it wouldnt have mattered to me either way. IMHO the wabboritas are nothing special, I dont see why Sammy even gave them a name. People arent going to see Sammy and the Wabboritas there going to see Sammy, there just another back up band, there all very easly replaced.

I think that it was just a rumor that they were canned.

That story was never really a legitimate news piece. I was under the impression that it was just a joke piece on that (bad) satire site, Hardknockz.

Not sure. I think it is just called Sammy Hagar. Though I could be wrong.

One thing for sure: I read somewhere that the story of Hagar firing the Waboritos is FALSE!

Actually, a "WaboRita" is a special kind of Margarita (the mixture is given on the spine of the CD for Red VooDoo).

It's not exactly an advertisement Cabo.

And I recall I think he added "and the WaboRitas" last time because he actually used them for most of the recording, whereas before they were just his concert band.
