Least Favorite Album became Most Fav Live Song

Hey guys just curious if any of you do not particularly care for an album version but do like the song when performed live.

For me it's Love Walks In - can't really get into the album version, but the live version smokes!

Anyone else have a similar like/dislike?

For me, it was 'Finish What Ya Started'. To this day, the album version isn't a big favorite of mine but live...now that's a different story. I like having the big guitar sound behind it. It gives it the Van Halen feel to it. IMO

i only had one problem........ love walks in live didnt have that synth sound like on the album
kinda pissed me off.
and they played jump in a way to high key. it sounded great but i like it they way it normally is. when they did pleasure dome before the drum solo they shoulda did the real one with the lyrics.

In 'n Out. Its weird how sometimes live, a song can become a different beast. This is where VH excels.

Two definite's for me would be Finish What Ya Started and 5150. Both of these were WAY better live, IMO. Also, all of the songs they did live off VH3, I liked a lot better than on the album.
