Maybe just maybe he is not back with Van Halen and he will never get back with them. Time to move on people. I would be satisfied at this point if Ed does not get a singer at all and do the Satriani and Vai solo thing. If you think about it it probably is best for him since he always at some point in time gets rid of his singers. He can't fire himself. I believe he has a lot of music left in him.

I don't think there's too many people that think Dave is "supposed to be back with VH". There are still people hoping he may be back in the future though. I think the possibility of a reunion is VERY thin now, but as long as Dave and Eddie are still alive, and somebody has a suitcase full of money, it'll remain a possibility.
