I'm new to this board and signed up in hopes of promoting my Van Halen website and to keep up to date with VH happenings. My site URL is

Beware though friend? I stole a pic to show DG in the "non-vh" forum to show her so please take no offense to it, and no I wont post that pic over 100 times, so you wont see no taxes or liability fluctuations in your keep($) to post it on your own website if that makes sense?

Hey guys thanks for the welcome and a big thank you for visisting my site. Since 3 o'clock last night I have had nearly 50 hits and I'm hoping for another 50 by 3 o'clock tonight. 100 hits in 24hrs for a brand new site sounds like a goal to me. Glad you all liked it!

Dude, you could post it a million times and Raven wouldn't have to pay anything, because Geocities hosts his site, and Geocities will host a site for free no matter how much traffic that site gets. In fact, they WANT you to get tons of traffic, because that's just more opportunities for them to advertise. Just wanted to clear that up.

Raven, you have a good site going there. The caricature of Eddie is awesome! I love stuff like that. Did you do it, or did someone make it for you?

The idea for that caricature came from a cartoon version off Eddie sitting on a bar stool with a fan that I saw in an old issue of Guitar World. It was the issue that had an article titled "25 tips for being in a band" in which this picture showed up. The tip that the picture was under had something to do with, "Its not who you are but who you know." Anyway....

Yes that particular picture is my work but I must confess I got the idea else where.

BTW: As of 4:00 this afternon I had 164 hits on the site which is exactly 100 hits since last night at 3:00 so my goal was attained YIPPIE!!!

I liked the rumor from your radio station about the summer tour plans.
That seems to be the hottest rumor regarding them right now. I am hearing the same on my local stations, and since I'm on the road alot, I get to hear about about 8 rock or classic rock stations frequently.
But I don't think that DJ's know jack so like you said, take it with a grain of salt.
