My (our) feelings toward Van Halen

Now by no means am I a Kid Rock fan at all, but I happened to hear the lyrics to his song Lonely Road of Faith, and it reminded how I (and probably most of you feel) towards Van Halen. The first verse goes like this:

Up and down that lonely road of faith
I have been there
Unprepared for the storms and the tides that rise
I've realized one thing, how much I love you
And it hurts to see, see you cryin'
I believe we can make it through the winds of change.

I think what Im trying to say (however cheesy it sounds) is that we are gonna have ups and downs with this band, but i will always love them, because they are part of my soul. "Brad's" will come and go, but Van Halen is forever.

What's cheesy is the amount of computer effects on Kid Cock's voice when he "sings" ballads. Might as well have C3PO on lead vocals.
