Looks More Like An E.A.S. Reunion Possible

While I can't see too many people (except in our circle) getting too excited over a reunion of the principles from Eat 'Em And Smile, I do wonder what they would call it if they did?

My thing is this - if Dave, Vai, and Sheenan work together again, the chances of an excellent new album that pushes Dave to finally give up on being a VH tribute band and trying to relive something he'll never be again are much higher. And Dave breaking new musical ground is good for him and good for his fans.

Plus who knows, maybe between Dave and Vai's respective labels, they could get the album out to a wide enough audience that it would have a chance to sell 10,000 copies [img]smilies/wink.gif[/img]

Personally, I would like to see a new VH album. VH to me will be/is Eddie/Alex/Mike/Singer...Singer meaning whoever is holding the microphone, weather that is DLR, Sammy, Gary or #4, personally I can't stand DLR, but if he is the singer for VH on the next CD then that is VH. If Meat Loaf is the singer on the next VH CD that is VH. If that CD cover has VH on it than it is VH. If the band playing at the loacl bar down the street than the band is VH.

A reunion with Vai and Sheenhan, really who cares, I mean seriously. They had maybe 3 songs that received good airplay, and at the time they rode the VH bandwagon which was led by the DLR die hards who felt he was hard done by the great evil himself Eddie.

I really don't give a shit anymore about any of the soap opera crap, or who is better than who, I just want a VH CD, preferably not with DLR, would musically and creatively be a step backward, about 20yrs back to the 80's where DLR is freeze dried...add water and you have a retro 80's show!

Steve Vai is a guitar god, and Billy Sheehan is well known, and respected, so it would be big, and it would be a great album. [img]smilies/cool.gif[/img]

I can't see any interest at all in a EEAS reunion outside of the VH community.
There's barely enough interest in a Van Halen reunion at this point never mind a reunion for what many people consider to be a Van Halen cover band.
