I posted this over at the main discussion, but no replies. It's getting pretty far down on the list and I am afraid nobody will bother looking at it.

I would really appreciated any info anyone can give:

I'm curious. I have an issue of the Best of Vol.1 CD. It has a version of Runnin With the Devil where two verses were switched around. I knew this right away when I bought it and thought, "cool." I bought it the day it came out and after I listened to it (a lot) I wondered if this was something special. I never pursued any investigating. My wife took it out and was listening to it the other day and I began to think about it again. This forum was not available to me when I was originally curios. Could it be considered a collectable item? Anybody else have a copy like this? Is it very rare?

Either way, I don't care, it would just satisfy a long curiosity.

Yeah, there was a mixing error and the earlier pressings came out with the incorrect version. I have no idea how many were actually made with the incorrect version of the song.

I have that version of the Best Of, and I didn't get that album until it was at least a few months old. It's interesting to have, though the song just doesn't seem to flow properly that way. Again, I don't know how many copies came out that way, so I'm not sure exactly how rare it is, but I would doubt that it would be worth anything more than the corrected version.
