Dave's comment about ' 3 ' Songs recorded...

Well now that Dave has made his statement and let it be known about the ' 3 ' tunes that the band recorded [img]smilies/eek.gif[/img]
why not release one of those tunes on the radio now? But if the band has decided to stop working with Dave, and from the band's answer to Dave's statement, then we probably won't hear anything from what was recorded!
It would be nice though and according to other sources the reunion is still on, including the tour, the next step would be a brand spanking new single while they put the rest of the tunes together...

I know he said they wrote 3 songs but went on to elaborate on the 3 tunes and common sense will tell you that when Edward puts the music together first, Dave is usually right behind him for the lyrics...and that indicates a song or two or three...

Even if they have recorded (which we don't know), that doesn't mean the songs are completed enough to be thinking of releasing them.

Plus, releasing a song would mean the reunion is 100% official, and it sure doesn't seem like VH is ready to admit to that.

I'd love to hear these songs too, I just wonder how good they really are. If they're so good, why hasn't Eddie asked Dave back to work on some more?

That comment struck me as making sense. I'm linking it to the Van Halen featuring David Lee Roth rumor

I think Ed, Al, and Mike placed bets on how long David Lee would keep quiet before releasing some kind of statement, I myself am amazed at how such a talker like Dave has kept quiet. Since July??? It still doesn't make sense.
