Napster Bootlegs

Maybe someone out there knows the answer to this....Before they nailed napster, I went out and was doing some searches for VH bootlegs..I got this file that referenced Van Halen but it also referenced several other artists...It sounded like a damn good club recording of Little Wing and there was a vocalist singing and all...I could never figure out who the volcalist was or if the guitar was Ed or not...There were definitely parts in there that sounded like Ed but I've always wanted to know for sure...

Anyone know for sure?

I've never heard of VH doing Little Wing. In the April 6, 1995 Rolling Stone magazine that Eddie was on the cover of, he says that "I never learned a song by Hendrix except Purple Haze, because that was a pop hit. I didn't know how to get his sound. That's what turned me off."

Ive never heard of ed doing little wing.

Maybe what you heard was the G3 guys playing it? I know that was heavily circulated on Napster.

i got that mp3 and it sounds like dave singing and eddies guitar (but only at the solo)
maybe its red ball jets!
