My f-ing local station cut out of the show at 9:45 and I missed the end.
But here are some pics of Dave.
'Old Van Halen, when I was in it-classic Van Halen-makes you wanna drink, dance and screw, right? And the new Van Halen encourages you to drink milk, drive a Nissan and have a relationship.' - David Lee Roth.

Where's the Dave-sicle?
He sure is getting around to all these radio stations. Hey Dave, how about visiting WPLR in New Haven or

One of the funniest comments from Dave came after a caller asked him who would win in a fight between he & Sammy.
Dave said that Sammy outweighs him by 200 pounds.
I missed any comments about Van Halen, ( I tuned in late and like I said, my station cut out 15 minutes early).'Old Van Halen, when I was in it-classic Van Halen-makes you wanna drink, dance and screw, right? And the new Van Halen encourages you to drink milk, drive a Nissan and have a relationship.' - David Lee Roth.

Here's a condensed version of what went on:
- acoustic "Jump", Dave sounded a little hoarse, but it was early AM on FM...
- Dave said he's as American as fried chicken and a pitcher of iced tea, then all joked about Long Island Iced Teas...
- B&T asked what his first band was (Red Ball Jets)...
- annoying version of "Panama" (jumbled and hoarse), Dave joked that it was named after a stripper from Albuquerque...
- started martial arts on his 12th birthday, Mojo Dojo...
- Dave joked about being a black man trapped in a Jewish body...
- "Ice Cream Man" - not much effort to do the song correct or well (Dave being Dave)...
- said Sam's set was pretty involved with a bunch of people on stage and his was bare-bones, no paint (b.s. I'm sure)...
- joked around, said he was America's favorite action-figure...
- B&T asked if he'd seen celebrity boxing and Dave said he'd heard tonight's had Darva Conger vs. Sammy's bass player (Mona)! Funny stuff...
- B&T joked Dave's the guy who put Jew in Jujitsu...
- "Little Dreamer" - sounded MUCH better - Dave is now warmed up...
- caller (Wendy from KY) gets cut off after 2 secs. and Dave jokes that that time period qualifies as a relationship for him. Then Wendy comes back on to praise Dave...
- unknown (off-the-cuff?) tune dedicated to Wendy...
- "Mean Street" - Dave joked about remembering the lyrics during the song...
- Dave spoke favorably about "The Osbournes"...
- joked about Sam wanting to flip a coin for headlining rights at the first show and Dave says he'd rather flip a blonde and call tails every time...
- "Pretty Woman" , Dave jokes about how Roy Orbison looks like the guy in K-PAX (Spacey)...
- B&T asked where "Diamond" came from and Dave said where he went to school it was 95% black and when he walked up to his friends they'd say: "Hey, it's the Diamond one, Diamond Dave"...
- "Dance The Night Away" - sounded good...
- Dave jokes about who the millenium will remember - Bill Gates or Hugh Hefner and "who would you rather be?"...
Overall it was funny and good to hear Dave again. He is as crazy as ever and he didn't rip on Sammy once!! Ok, he ripped Mona, but not Sammy!

The Army has a couple of great shots of Brian from the May 3rd gig in Atlanta.

OK, taking the fact that B&T are on the competing station here in town, I checked them out anyway. They had their "laugh trax" going on and on and on and on...
I'm sure even Dave was thinking "guys, this stuff ain't all that funny. Why you hangin' me out here?"
There was one comment made from Bob in regards to Dave being an action figure. Bob said "I have this weird image in my head of DLR the action figure getting pried off Barbie"
(laughs from everyone)
Dave mumbled something, then got back up on the horse (aka: schtick) and kicked it up again.
B&T are NOT good at interviewing guests, IMO. It's too jumbled, crowded and too filled w/fake-laughs at things that aren't THAT funny."Once the final BAN has been completed I will ban myself." -OLO, March 21, 2002

There was one line I really liked from Dave. It was after he said that Bono called him, then he said, "you guys give peace a chance, and we'll cover you in case it doesn't work out." I just like that concept with things the way they are today. As far as Bob and Tom, I got the impression that they were really frustrated with the whole process. Dave just controlled the whole tempo of their show.
They should know that in interview with Dave is like a drive by: You don't see it coming, when it's happening you're not sure what the hell is going on, and when it's over, you have to shake off the shock and pick up the bodies. Dave has mastered the "Drive By Interview"."Having an opinion that people disagree with doesn't make you a Douche, arguing with the people who disagree with your opinion and calling them stupid does!" -Me.

ya, they seemed kinda pissed, and agrivted.. Te fact that they repeat themselves lik 50 million times is fuckin' annoying... They are not funny at all.. They kinda sounded mad about dave bringing all the acoustic stuff.. And it was fuckn' rude, how when dave said something about someone who wrote in, they didn't even laugh, or acknowledge it, they just paused, and continued.. And another rude thing was the, "umm david lee roth is here, and doing some accoustic thing, or something." I was like wow don't seem to happy lol... These people have balls charging money to listen to their show over the internet...
ut, it didn't stop dave! ave just kept on talking and talking.. The way they left it, it also seemed like there was supposed to be more.. You jut got, this is the bob and tom show, and thankyou. And that was the end... Well. atleast dave had fun with it.. Not bad mouthing hagar, but it seems as if they prefer interviewing hagar.

Bob and Tom is syndicated here in the Fort, so I listen to if if I'm in the car. They would rather interview somebody who doesn't talk too much. This way they get to talk about themselves (their favorite subject). The show was great when it was just on the Indy station. It has gone down hill since syndication.
