The pic of the week at the official site is of him, so I suppose he is still in.

It's a media story, and Van Halen has not been active as a band since 1998. Therefore, they are written about in past tense. I wouldn't read too much in to it, especially since Mike has just released a statement on his website that he is still very much VH's Bass player.

What pisses me off more is the fact that they can't tell a 32 from a 34. Mike's roadster is a 34!

i e-maile the usa today and told them how there was a rumour on mike being out, and that it was not true that he is still in vh.

Well, VH as a band hasn't been in the news since '99. Probably most people think they're retired and that the band is no more.
