That truly was the biggest let down - after all the posts I was expecting Ed to be running around naked, with Devil horns growing out his head, salivating at the mouth with both fists clenched ready to take on the rest of the band.....jesus - he even smiles and gives a thumbs up at the end.

    What is wrong with people?
My thoughts exactly altho I didn't picture a naked Edward with devil horns!!

I read all about this little outburst when it happened and had to wonder cause he seemed fine when we saw them. But now that I think about it, he did get a bit peeved at his setup which had some feedback, but that was about it. Nothing too major, least that's what I thought. Maybe this partic guitar had been troublesome all along.

He sure looked p/o'd at his guitar more than anything else. He was probably frustrated but was able to finish the show, my guess of course. But no, the snippet wasn't what I was expecting either. What did I expect?? Got me.

He did look pretty pissed tho. They used to all stand together too at the end and bask in crowd applause. That's what they did at the show we went to. This didn't look very good. It's hard to say since I wasn't at this show and didn't see what all was goin on. Gotta feel the vibe but then I wasn't there.

Oh hell, I don't know what to make of this.

I'm just glad he didn't have that hairdo at the show we were at!!

Heh...the hairdo is pretty loony but maybe that was the point. Everyone, media included, views him as this mad genius whose gone off the deep end and he shows up on stage with this goofy samuri thing going on that could possibly mean he's just mocking us.

Man, I thought I was going to see something crazy too and it seemed almost rehearsed and not so out-of-the-ordinary for a rock concert. jeez people...

Ed supported that "Samuri hair doo" on many of the shows on the tour. It sure ain't his best "doo," to say the least.

The fact there was a smashed up EVH Charvel with pics of Ed smiling with the guitar in pieces up on ebay, shows me that it was all just a goof. I'll see if I can find those pics for ya.

I think we all know that Ed and Sam were not getting along especially since Sam said so in the last million interviews he has done and that Ed is a miserable human being and they almost came to blows on the last show and that they had to go off different directions off the stage or they would have come to blows.
But it seems to me that the last show Ed was just letting off steam and smashing the guitar was just his way of letting loose and having some fun.
I do hope Ed and Sam can mend their differences and at least get along. I love the Roth VH years and would love to see a VH tour with Dave again but I still LOVE the Sam VH too and I just would like to see it go out on a good note.
    my 2 cents,
    Rob
