Tearin' It Up At The CMAs!
April 29, 2002
Michael and Planet Us brought the house down last night at the 2002 California Music Awards held at the Henry J. Kaiser Arena in Oakland, CA!
Smashmouth took the stage early in the evening and got the crowd fired up with their rendition of "Runnin' With The Devil" complete with the horn intro! Other bands to perform included Papa Roach, KGB, Joe Satriani, and Sammy Hagar & The Waboritas. The high-
light of the evening however, was the live debut of Planet Us who whipped the crowd into a frenzy with "Vertigo" and "Peeping Through A Hole." The band was then joined by members of Smashmouth and blew the roof off the place with an energetic version of "Ain't Talkin' 'Bout Love."
Watch for Planet Us to perform at The Joint in Las Vegas, NV on May 17th and 18th. Don't be surprised if you see members of Smashmouth join the party as they all had such a bashing good time at the CMAs, they're ready to do it again sooner rather than later!
