-the name "LIV" representing the Roman numeral for 54... number of holes in the new 3 round setup
-season has 8 events ending in a team championship finale.. many in USA

Phil, DJ, Garcia, Oosthuizen, Westwood, Kevin Na, McDowell, Gooch, all there... DeChambeau and Patrick Reed joining the tour at next event in Portland, OR...

Will be interesting to see how many BIG guys jump ship from the PGA (and Euro Tours), for the obscene money being offered. DJ given $120 million. Tiger was offered $900 million and turned it down. Endless OIL money financing the whole thing.

The PGA Tour execs must be freaking out...

I think playing in the PGA is more important to Woods than money—at least at this point in his career. Yeah…to anyone else, it would’ve been a stupid move.

LIV has already now snagged 6 huge golf names/brands (DJ, Bryson, Phil, Reed, Oosthuizen, Garcia)... if they get approx 4 more the PGA Tour is going to lose it.

Although not a big name, rumour this morning Pat Perez has also now just jumped ship...
