This Dave ain't Jewish. Unless he converted? Wtf?

I like that he was still able to do some cool accents on the drums while singing, which is not easy to do.

Pretty cool cover, though, and nice to see an Oberheim being used. Dave should've just added a crash cymbal to his kit to be closer to the original.

You don't need to be Jewish to celebrate Hanukah and other Jewish holidays. Some Christians (not many) have figured out that Jesus was Jewish, and some of the holidays are shared (Passover for example).
If I don't respond to you it means I have you on ignore, which means you are a douchenozzle.

Emperor Brett - "I can't believe you guys are analyzing song-by-song Van Halen III? What next, analyzing the script of Stroker Ace looking for some shred of Citizen Kane?"

David Lee Roth did the impossible. He made Van Halen better. Deal with it!

Actually it's more Christians than you think. And it may be even more Jews than you would imagine. And that's a great thing for both faiths imo.

Reading Grohl's book now. It's pretty good. Not a big fan of his, but he is a likeable down-to-earth dude.

We have a pro who lives in the same area I do, one of the best drummers in the area. We could be considered the suburbs of LA, but it is a stretch. Dave Lombardo from Slayer used to live in the area and Ben Harper's bass player, Juan Nelson, lived around here, too, until he died.

I would put this guy in their class, even if he never "made it." Anyway, we used to have jam sessions out in front of the music store I worked at on Saturday afternoons. One day this guy shows up to play drums, and he decides just to use this tiny, almost a toy, Yamaha DD50 digital set. Look it up. It's not a real electronic drum set. It's a tiny thing.

Anyway, he rocked that thing through the PA and you'd have no idea it was what it was. Pros are just in a different class, man.
