Bare Naked Lades mention VH (no news, but funny)

I happend to flip on PPV while I was restringing my Wolfgang last night.

The Bare Naked Ladies had a special PPV on last night for a special benefit concert sponsored by Guinness.(SP?)

There came a time where they had to to the "toast" and they wanted to have someone special, so the one guy from BNL says something like this,

"it's our pleasure to welcome a guy from Van Halen to do this toast............oh hold on, the abreviation is NH for New Hampshire, I thought it said VH for Van Halen."

Then the heavy set guy said something like,
"what did you expect Sammy Hagar to show here?"

When I first heard him say from Van Halen, I thought I was seeing the "tip of the VH Iceberg"......but as usual with the VH soapopera....it's just another coincidence.

BNL are cool! I saw them live a few years ago, they were great, and they are hilarious. I'm glad that they finally made it big in the U.S. [img]smile.gif[/img]

They've been well known in Canada for about 12 years now.

My favorite songs by them are Jane, The Old Apartment, Lovers In A Dangerous Time and Shoebox. [img]graemlins/thumb.gif[/img]

I think it was a "Free View" Didnt watch it myself, but I did see the Train show on there the other night, that wasnt bad on a slow TV night.

Those high 590 channels are pretty cool, huh??!

No I must admit I didn't pay for the PPV event.....it's one of my little perks working for a Cable Company! Free cable and modem service.

As far as the BNL, how can you not like Apartment Song and One Week. But then people on here as me why I don't like Iron Maiden. Different strokes for different folks.

They do the nasty and then some on the high 590's! I've even heard chicks talkin' about the high 590 channels, so porn must be catchin' on like it did with guys the first day it came out.I understand the different strokes for different folks about the music, and have watched a number of the free view concerts, at least parts of them. Sammy had one on their this past summer that wasn't bad at all. I'm not much into groups like the CORRS but they are pretty good at what they do and pretty easy on the eyes. Except for their brother. Didn't get much of a charge out of him, but the sisters are pretty hot.

I love the Corrs! They're really hot and talented! At least the sisters are, I agree that their brother isn't that good, he's got a free ride IMO, he hardly does anything.

I wasn't talking about his playing ability as I didn't make it through enough of the show to have a real opinion. But the sisters are hot and can sing and play pretty good. For the little I watched, the brother didn't warrant much attention.
