One thing I really liked about Dio Black Sabbath, they seemed to write more up tempo songs.
If I don't respond to you it means I have you on ignore, which means you are a douchenozzle.

Agreed. I've never been a fan of slow and plodding music. Iron Man being the perfect example.

New DIO Documentary in MOVIE THEATERS...... Coming soon

    https://loudwire.com/ronnie-james-di...-cinemas-2022/

    https://www.diodreamersneverdie.com/...0zjRIGcuzYNqDk
Ronnie James Dio's story transcends the standard rock documentary. Beautifully highlighting both his powerful voice and his gentle heart, “DIO: Dreamers Never Die” delves deep into the singer’s incredible rise from ’50s doo-wop crooner to his early rock days in Elf and Ritchie Blackmore’s Rainbow, to replacing Ozzy Osbourne in Black Sabbath, and finally cementing his rockstar status with his own band, DIO. The first documentary to be authorized by the artist’s estate, the film incorporates never-before-seen footage and personal photos from Dio’s archives as well as offering intimate scenes with his closest peers, family, and friends, among them Wendy Dio, Tony Iommi, Geezer Butler, Glenn Hughes, Vinny Appice, Lita Ford, Rob Halford, Sebastian Bach, Eddie Trunk and Jack Black, as they bring viewers inside the life of one of the most beloved figures in rock.

In addition to the feature-length film, this special event will also include a hand-picked selection of outtakes from the cutting room floor, creating an experience that is exclusive only to fans in attendance.

I think Viv might be back on decent terms with Wendy Dio after all this time?? OR maybe not?

With the "Last in Line" band the last few years, though they have no official tie to Wendy or RJD or the current Official "Dio Disciples" band. They are keeping the early DIO music out there.

Vinny Appice (Also in Last in Line) with Viv, is in the Doc.

Maybe just to much water under the bridge......

Love it! But I still prefer anything off of Mob Rules.
IMHO, it is Sabs's best effort ever, no matter who's the lead singer.
It's a perfect record. Adding Vinnie Appice as their drummer made them even more heavier!!

tough call. They are both great albums, however, these days I think I prefer H&H just a little bit more. Over the years I've grown a bit tired of tracks 8 & 9. I still like the songs a lot, but I can't do a full listen of the album in one take anymore. and I never liked "Slippin' Away."

That being said one of my all time favorite Sabbath tunes is "Country Girl." I just love the riff.
