Bon Jovi was #6 on TRL today

i couldnt believe what i was hearing. "hers Bon Jovi at #6". i was amazed. only a month ago, carson daily was saying how "its my life" almost made it to the top ten, and then he said "i know thats hard to believe". now what does this have to do with vh? well if bon jovi can do that , then vh can certainly do it, esp. with daves charm in the videos he is involved in. after today, i think vh has a good chance of regaining some of that lost popularity among the mainstream. and like i and many others have said before, if it rocks, it will sell.

Let's not forget that Bon Jovi's new album is produced by the same person who has produced many popular R&B albums...also, the person produced the new Britney album. I think that may have something to do with it. I still believe TRL is rigged.

I think Metal Sludge said Bon jovi's record has sold around 500,000, so its gold I guess.

I find it interesting that it started sliding down the charts after the first week or two and now it's going back up. It's like somebody decided that MTV and Top 40 radio should start pushing it. Do the record companies REALLY decide what we have to listen to?

I'm not really a big Bon Jovi fan, but it's WAY preferable to the rap/disco/boyband/teengirl crap. Maybe it's a good sign.

You're joking right...something on MTV's TRL by a group that actually plays its own music? You gottat give the hair bands credit, at least they played instruments themselves. And speaking about how the Bon Jovi record was slipping then gets popular again...Did anyone see the recent Styx Behind The Music where they talked about how the song "Come Sail Away" was quickly sliding down the charts then got big again after the record company started sending influential DJs "Gifts" Yeah, payola is illegal, but shit goes on in the music biz.
