Of course I'd buy it. The only thing is, I would think that if Eddie made a solo/instrumental album, it would be likely to contain a lot of other instruments other than the guitar. I don't think that Eddie is comfortable just being a guitar hero, so he'd want to showcase his overall talent.

I'm not interested in EVH solo. I'm a fan of great rock and roll, and music-only albums generally don't do it for me.

All I want to hear is 4 particular guys doing their thing for about an hour. That's a lot to ask, but I'm willing to spend the money on that. Hell, they could do a reunion album in a very rough form, and sell it on the VH website for $80 bucks a pop. Maybe more.

Yeah, I don't doubt that I would buy it as well. I feel trapped and helpless as a fan because of this whole thing. Folks who refused to buy 3 missed a couple of worthwhile moments. While it's far from my favorite work, it only cost me $12.
