State Of Fear
Anyone else read Michael Crichton's latest book? I just finished it last night, and it was great. I'd recommend it to anyone that likes his other books.

I've read "Jurassic Park", "Lost World", "Sphere", and "Great Train Robbery". I was kinda interested in "State of Fear", but it didn't get very good reviews. Given the 4 of his that I've read, what else of his would you recommend?

I just finished that myself. Peter Evans had a bit of a rough stretch there don't you think? If I went through any of that, no way I make the trek into work. As with all his books, I learned a great deal. This time about global warming and environmental issues in general.
I would recommend The Andromeda Strain, The Terminal Man and Timeline.
He is one gifted writer.Last edited by scherb; 02.17.05 at 03:42 PM.

Crichton's one of my favorites. Last thing I read of his was his bio, Travels. I'll have to pick this one up when it hits paperback (I'm a cheapo).

I've read Jurassic Park, The Lost World, Eaters of the Dead, Prey, and Timeline. Timeline is one of my favorite books but they should have never made the movie. I want to get State of Fear because it's not a book I would have ever thought that he would write. The message seems to go against many of the views that are widely held in the world.
