VH Talk in St. Louis

Just thought I heard this on KSHE 95 here in the St. Louis area this afternoon. Anyone in the area, help me confirm this!

Favazz the DJ just said something about a Sammy interview in a couple of hours. 5:00PM CT. My ears perked up when I heard Sammy and something about Cabo Wabo. I turned it up and heard Favazz say how Sammy would be talking about Dave and the tour and how he would never do that again and VH. Something about how VH is DEAD in the water right now because of things going on with Eddie. Eddie is going through a divorce (I hadn't heard this officially yet), and something about cancer again. My co-worker was talking at the time so I caught bits and pieces so I don't know how accurate any of it is. I will be tuning in to hear this though! FYI

i know that ed and val have split but there is no news of a divorce yet or if they will go that way.
on ed cancer as far as i know he is still free of it he said awhile back that he got a clean bill of health.

OKAY, finally getting a chance to update ya'll on this lil' interview. Sammy was very open with his feelings on this one.

First and foremost, regarding Eddie, Ed is being quiet because of his personal problems, which he said were related to his pending divorce with Valerie. Sammy says he feels for Ed as he went thru a divorce himself. Said there was no way Ed could tour and enjoy it due to the divorce being such a distraction. Didnt mention the cancer at all as being part of the personal problems. What was interesting was that not even Mike had heard from the VH bros. lately. Something like he does'nt know if VH even exist's anymore ?

Regarding Dave, he ripped him pretty hard. In fact, used several curse words that had to be cencorsed (F***** A******, etc.). Sammy also made fun of his hair, spraying on etc. Said that Dave is tricky, was being his friend at the beginning and turned into a total *******. Saying that Dave forgets that it is not 1982 but 2002, etc.

Said that he had hoped they (Sam and Dave) would be able to talk the VH bros. into joining them on this tour. Said that a reunion with he and/or Dave was inevitable and, that it would be for the great VH fans only.

It was quite the interview, if any of the local STL linkers heard this please add anything I forgot. I think Scott Roberts is local.

That's pretty much what I got out of it. Don't know why Favazz mentioned the cancer in the teaser a couple of hours earlier though.

I got a very good feeling out of it that something may probably happen when Eddie gets out of the legal weeds with his divorce. (The mans worth a lot of dough, so he needs to take his time and get it done right so he doesn't get screwed!!) Sammy was pretty cool throughout the interview.

Loved the rips on Dave for sure. Nothing against Dave personally but it kind of re-affirms what Ed and others have said regarding ever being able to get the original VH back together. (MTV '96????)

Maybe when he says that a reunion is inevitable, he means a one time reunion and getting together and jamming type of thing. When he says that he won't go back to VH, Maybe he means that he won't go back on a permanant basis. Who knows?

Do you think that Eddie would do a "one time only" reunion? He seems to be more interested in the present/future to do a nostalga type event. Sure the fans would love it (I'd be there) but would the brother want to be seen as saying "Our best days are behind us"?
