Their last studio album came out in 2012. Hopefully Tyler's voice is just shot for touring and not say doing one more studio album for the fans.

That's probably a wrap though on an amazing band and journey. They have nothing to prove. Their music will live on and on and on.

Shitty way to go, but they’re legends. Notice how they’re retiring from touring.

Probably holding out hope that he could get to where he could perform one offs.
Yup, I think the first time I saw them was the Pump tour. After that, I never wanted to miss them if they came around. That held true for a couple decades--then they started going to the casino here in CT instead of the outdoor shed and I ultimately skipped a couple of those shows. Anyway, they were always a great show and a great time.

Since this was the farewell tour, I was planning on going to see them somewhere if not in CT--don't think they had a date planned here. It's sad that they're cancelling the tour and not finishing it up on their terms. Sucks that Steven's voice isn't up to it.

But, hell, that never stopped Vince Neil. LOL

Brett, crank up Toys In The Attic and Rocks when you get a chance. IMO, two of the best back-to-back albums any rock band has ever recorded.

I remember hearing this one from their last studio album while we were in Maui in 2012. Cool tune ...

I was all set to catch three shows on this tour.

    Oh well.

I've told this story here before. This right here will always be one of the greatest shows of my life. 13 days after 9/11. Everyone was tense before the show, Steven and the boys reminded us we were Americans.

"I wish Bon Jovi would've given me a call before he recorded all of his hits, because the lyrics would've been smarter, the melodies would've been much more smashing, and they would've sold a lot fewer records." -David Lee Roth

Rule # 1 for geezer band touring . See them early and travel if necessary.

Toto cancelling on me a few years ago pissed me off because some guy tested positive for the kung flu 30 minutes before showtime cost me a bundle in DC with the hotel and transportation. Plus a night of drinking at DC bars cab hopping instead of seeing Lukather shred. The bus with the band actually pulled out of the arena and passed us on the street and my date and I both gave them the one finger salute. Nobody looked sick on board. So much for the show must go on.

Those are the only two Aerosmith albums I like. I really don’t like their comeback 80s stuff at all.

Arguably, the first modem rock power ballad and in my top 3 Aerosmith. Sounds like Tommy nicked a little of the intro for Home Sweet Home. Always sounded like that to me, anyway.

Pump and Nine Lives are their best albums post 1970s. Some of the deeper cuts on there fall in line with the older stuff
