i really felt they should've called it a day a while ago - old guys aren't supposed to rock 'n roll and with all of the medical issues various members were having... Glad that it was those five guys for most of the tenure. The '70s stuff is the best but even with the later stuff being uneven, I can't imagine they still couldn't put on a good show. I know it's 28 years since I last saw them, but some of you have seen 'em more recently and seem to confirm they could still bring the goods to the stage

Why if AC/DC comes to America, I won't go. Bucket list that I thought I couldn't miss. Have you seen Angus lately? God bless 'em tho.

    They still brought it.

Fucking shame they couldn’t do this farewell tour.

Damn, that's tough for me. Yours is a great tune.

Seasons of Wither comes to mind. Rats in the Cellar. Draw the Line. Lightning Strikes is a favorite of mine too--even though it's not the true lineup.

Always loved their more recent live versions of those old classics. For example, No More, No more is on their "Rockin' the Joint" live album and it's so much better than the studio version.

Nothing like their 70's tunes, but they do have a lot of great stuff after their 80's comeback. Pump may be my favorite album of that era.

I even broke out "Honkin' on Bobo" recently. It's not as bad as I remember. I think I initially felt let down since it was original material, just blues covers.

Don't With Mirrors was an excellent comeback of the OG lineup.

Wasn't even my generation, and I wore the cassette out.

Sammy Hagar has a lot of say about Aerosmith's retirement. He called them Van Halen's competitors for 10 years. Which I found surprising. I did get in arguments with College about who was better Van Halen or Aerosmith. I said Van Halen of course.

Well Van Hagar released 5150 in 1986 and Aerosmith's Permanent Vacation came out in 1987. So they were in competition for the following years. And the vids both bands made were often battling each other on MTV. The dude that looked like a lady always wanted the best of both worlds!
