Hats off to the Mods!

I think the moderators are doing a fine job at keeping things in line. The whole concept of discussion is inherently controverse, and sometimes passion and tempers flare. Without discussion, negotiation, policy, and opinion would be completely void. No great idea has ever been accepted without its share of controversial discussion. I just want to congratulate the Moderators of this forum for keeping their wits, in the midst of occasional hysterical mob-mentality.

over the past couple days, it seems you aren't in the best of graces with alot of folks here at the links. nice letter to the mods, youre right, they do a good job. by the way, you have a smudge of poop on your nose.

When the lynch mob was headed at me, labeling and attacking me; the mods showed wisdom and did not just give into the blind hysteria. I can appreciate that, and really I just wanted to raise a toast to common sense and toleration.

How boring would life be without a little controversy? I can't just stand back and not have an opinion. I tried to be fair, as much as humanly possible, but at some point I had to speak. Open and honest discourse is at the root of modern democracy.

I appreciate your opinion, right or wrong, good or bad, it means a lot to me.
