...they would treat their adopted hometown (LA) to 2 encores; one on the 24th and one on the 25th.

My choice would be:

6/24 - Can't Get This Stuff No More

6/25 - Summer Nights

It's a perfect opportunity b/c they don't have to try to hassle with having both singers on stage at the same time. They can just show up after each singer's closing set.

Now, if they really had INTEGRITY (which we all know they don't) they would play 3 songs each night adding.

6/24 - Little Guitars, Panama

6/25 - Summer Nights, Can't Stop Loving You

Now, that would be cool.

That would be nice, and of course, I hope it happens. I'll be there both nights.

But, this is what Eddie told me on May 18th at the LAPD golf tournament when I asked him if there were any chance of him showing-up with Sam and/or Dave at the Universal Amphitheatre: "Are you kidding?! After both of those guys left the band?!"

Actually, if they really wanted to show their integrity they'd never play Can't Stop Loving You again.

"One of the reasons I left Sabbath was because Van Halen was blowing us off the stage every night. It was embarrassing." -Ozzy Osbourne

"When I first heard "Runnin' With The Devil" on the radio, I was stunned and found myself dizzy, walking through my high school hallways thinking, "What was THAT?!"
Eddie Van Halen was so innovative and kicked so much ass, and David Lee Roth was for a time indisputably the Greatest Man in America.
If aliens came down and challenged us to a Battle of the Bands to decide the fate of Planet Earth, I would feel very confident putting early Van Halen forward as our champion." -Tom Morello

"There is no heir to the throne of Eddie Van Halen. Nobody sits on that throne. Nobody takes that throne. Here's why it's different with Eddie: when a great guitar player passes, you just move on to another, right? But in this case, Eddie wasn't just a 'guitar player'. We're talking about a guy who changed culture and how we play guitar. He was like an alien coming in and fucking everything up so much that even the legends beforehand are like, 'Okay .. what is happening here? What sorcery is this?'" -Nuno Bettencourt

Was he pissed that you even asked that question?

Was he pissed that you even asked that question?</font>
No, he was not pissed that I even asked the question.

Are you still pissed because I asked the question?!

Shit dude, loosen up! Are you gonna have some Jack at the Devore Tailgate party. I hope I get there to do at least one shot with you. Peace.

Eddie also expressed that he was not happy that Sam and Dave were gonna tour and play his music.

After Eddie answered my question, then the guy from Budweiser who was playing golf in Eddie's group asked Eddie if Sam and Dave could even (legally) play the Van Halen songs. Interestingly, Eddie's answer to that question was like, "Yeah, they can. It's just like when we used to play in the clubs, playing cover tunes." Interesting that Eddie's answer was not, "Yeah, Sam and Dave can play those songs because they co-wrote them; they own them as much as I do, ..."
