he is touring this summer and fall, anyone on the board that is from connecticut they are trying to bring dave here. i was on the phone with a dj from wplr and before you say another dj, he does a show on thursday from 5 to 6pm called the mike and jimmy concert show, jimmy is the guy who brings all the bands to connecticut and talks to all the bands, i also asked about van halen does not look like they will work with dave, and also they do not know if this is true but eddie may be in bad health, again this may not be true because we have heard he is cancer free, so that is why the dj said that it may be a rumour, but dave is going to tour this summer.
van halen shall return. what you think is nothing might be something after all.

howdy joe! i remember listening to wplr when i lived in new haven and those guys usually knew what they were talking about...unfortunately.
hopefully he is wrong about eddie, i could really care less what dave is doing anymore.
it seems like mach 4 is a thought with these guys.
i don't ever think we'll see dave back.

What is happening? whatever is happening, its happening fast, or something isn't happening. i'm just confused about this whole thing.
it just makes me sad that vh might hit the grave. it almost even scares me. its just weird you know? i mean, what if they came out and told us they weren't going to make a new album.. from what i'm always hearing, they aren't. but i'm only 12, and i believe a lot. but i'm not really believing this.. everything is happening fast, like vh quit WB. DLR is losing people from his band, or something. i'm not going to leave here though, its pretty different around here. but you can't hear anything now, its getting quieter. vh isnt talking.. are they mad at us fans? i will still listen to their legendary music, even if they die...This is home, this is Mean Street!<br /><br /><b><br />Then one year you find ten years have gotten behind, no one told you when to run, you missed the starting gun. - Pink Floyd, Time</b><br /><br />"Everyone knows that Van Halen with Roth is the only real Van Halen."- Mike Tramp<br /><br /><a href="http://www.vhforums.com/vhlforum/ultimatebb.php?ubb=get_topic;f=12;t=001366&p=66#00 1635" target="_blank"> OBEY THE DFK!!</a>

hi jmj, yeah they do know their shit, thats why mike thought it may be untrue about eddie, even after i told him about the parade magazine with val saying he is free of cancer. but with dlr touring again i dont think he is in vh. and there may be a 4th singer no names were given though. wplr did not say this but s.bach name keeps coming up may be just another rumour.

Here's another vote for DLR coming to Connecticut. I haven't seen him perform live since he did his shows at Foxwoods Casino. I know that there are plenty of DLR fans here eagerly awaiting his arrival.

Hell I even saw the "18 & Life" video the other day on either MTV2 or MTVX.
He would probably be my only choice if they went with singer #4 because unlike Gary, Bach DOES have "balls the size of an elephant."'Old Van Halen, when I was in it-classic Van Halen-makes you wanna drink, dance and screw, right? And the new Van Halen encourages you to drink milk, drive a Nissan and have a relationship.' - David Lee Roth.

Here's a question...
How many tours can Dave do with his cover band relying off of no song newer than 16 years of age before people just don't care anymore?"Just once I'd like to do the right thing and not get punished for it."

I know, if he is so eager to play Van Halen material, why not re-join Van Halen? Eddie already said, "He has my number", sounds like an invitation to me.
Eddie did not say, "I don't want to go through the torture of working with him again."
If Dave wants more than 25% of the royalties he should just give it up and go back to Vegas.
A VH cover band tour will bring in much less than the 25% that he would get from a VH reunion album/tour.
A VH Album alone would bring in more $$$$ that a cover band tour.
Heres probably how sales would compare: hypothetically
COVER BAND VAN HALEN REUNION
tour= $1,200,000 Tour=$45,000,000
And album would be like 1 cover band albums sold to 25 VH reunion albums sold.
If its about Money to Dave, the choice is clear.
If dave doesn't want to be in VH, then he should just say so and we the fans can move on.'Old Van Halen, when I was in it-classic Van Halen-makes you wanna drink, dance and screw, right? And the new Van Halen encourages you to drink milk, drive a Nissan and have a relationship.' - David Lee Roth.

I miss Connecticut, I miss WPLR. Toad's would be so cool to see Dave at too. Mike and Jimmy are pretty much on the money, but I'm praying and hoping big time that the rumors about Ed's health are just that.
EDWARD/VAL/ANYBODY: Your fans want to know if you're okay! Fuck everything else, just let us know you're okay.
If Dave is in Connecticut, maybe I'll make a trip up there for the party. Hope it's in the spring/summer so I don't freeze my ya-ya's off, though.Could this be magic?

it would be cool to see dave, but the last time i saw dave was in new haven billy left the band and that night dlr never told us the name of his new bass player, also dlr did not sell out in new haven it maybe holds 18,000 seats if that, all in all it was a great show.
