Where are the Jane's Addiction fans at? I think they were a great band, although short-lived. Dave Navarro is kickass guitarist. Ritual de lo Habitutal is my favorite album. I like their latest album too. Same energy but an updated sound.

Great Idea man! I was waiting for a Jane's Addiction thread to pop up.I was also considering starting one.

I got bummed when I found out they broke up.I had two chances to see them but they fizzled

I would've loved to have seen Dave Navarro rip it up (one of my guitar influences).They were surreal darkness meets incredible beauty.

Navarro is a great guitar player. However, I find Perry Farrell to be extremely annoying. His voice blows and he looks like an uglier version of the chick from 4 Non-Blondes. However, I did really like "Been Caught Stealing".

Just my opinion. And you what they say about opinions...."Opinions are like assholes, everybody has one (and some people are one)!"

So I'm watchin the Bulls game tonight (they won by the way

) and a commercial for Jack Daniels comes on and much to my surprise they are playing "Jane Says" during the commercial.

I thought they were the poster band for anit-commercial everything.....

I guess not. But I suppose if you're gonna sell out, Jack Daniels is probably the coolest way to go

Yeah they are good, I never got a chance to see them but I did see Porno For Pyros a few times. Once at a club in New Haven and once at Woodstock 94. Great fuckin band.

Got their last cd. Was underwhelmed....I like "Just Because", but the rest are pretty weak imo.

I'd rather have seen JA on the 2008 Project Revolution tour, than Chris Cornell playing the hits of two other bands...

I saw the bloke who sang for them at Download Festival last year. One of the all time worst performances I've ever seen. He kept being "cool" by necking small gulps of whine and was real off key. His shiny outfit was hideous too.

His girlfriend (who is a "dancer and backing vocalist" who just dances seductively) was hot though. Her dancing in shorts made it worth being at.

Love Janes. One of my top 5 all time favorite bands. I got in to them before they got popular so I can honestly say I'm not a bandwagoner with them. Summertime Rolls is just drippy with memories for me. Classic Girl, Three Days...ugh. Great tunes. Great lose yourself music. They did a live one of lexicon devil and LA woman (medley) that just fries your brain it's so intense. I really think Perry is one of those rare, gifted artists that has the actual ability to deliver emotion on a big scale.
