    Batman: Urban Legends #6

Tim's story in this anthology series is starting to look like they are turning a 30+ year old character either bi of gay.

Not that there is anything wrong with that.

Tim has been so ignored since The New 52... hopefully this will at least bring him back to the forefront of some of the stories... get some mileage out of such a great character again.

It won't change a thing about him being the best Robin... that's been proven

& to be honest... back in the day... there were times when him and Conner's bromance raised some eyebrows. Lol!

I heard rumors about what they had planned with conner and Tim and I never thought they'd actually do it.

    Eh.

Couldn't care less about sexuality plot lines to be honest.

To me, it's the writers running out of ideas when they get to let's make so and so gay, lesbian, bi-sexual. I am sure many will disagree, but for me, it's something I just tune out. Don't care about Batman banging supermodels either for those who's first inclination is to think homophobia.
If I don't respond to you it means I have you on ignore, which means you are a douchenozzle.

David Lee Roth did the impossible. He made Van Halen better. Deal with it!

Really? Any chance to make the 5.6% happy, it's gonna happen. Gotta make those happy that are spending the money, right?

Pretty sure Conner is still banging anything from any planet or dimension with anything vaguely resembling a vagina. Lol!

they opened a comic book store about 5 mins from my house. nice set up. I'm a DC guy so I bought a few comics, a couple of JLA titles, batman and then he threw in a bunch of free batman books left over from free comic book day.

first, TOOWTR mentioned the decline in art....I was shocked by how bad the art was in general. I have no idea what's going on with these books, the JLA is totally confusing, I have no idea what's going on. the batman book I bought, I wasn't impressed with. I did like Titans Academy.

ever since all this metal crap and the follow up I have no clue what is going on in the DCU.

I also started to sort my comics....haven't looked at some of this stuff in about 20 years so that is really fun.

^^^ I was just about ready to pull the trigger on the five issues of the just cancelled Non-Stop Spider Man because it intrigued me. Then I went to ComiXology and checked out the inside art and said no freaking way. I know that it's the story that matters most... but the art is just horrible. It disturbs my vision. Lol. It's a shame also because the covers for every issue are amazing.

Wow! BttB wasn't kidding. That art in JL is absolute shit... & I thought JL: Infinity looked bad... but at least they are trying to duplicate the look of the JL animated series.

it's really a shame, to me the JL is kinda of the flagship book (I know more people read batman but you know what I'm saying), it should be stand out and now it just looks like a cartoon like Titans Go or something.

I also saw that DC is celebrating the first appearance of Arthur Curry as Aquaman, it's been 80 years so.....they're replacing him with a new aquaman, I don't know if they plan on having 2 aquamans or not......nice way to honor a character. and the promo art i saw for the new guy looks like he's a bananna republic store model or something...it's just wierd

Another old white guy super hero removed to make way for the new standard.

Aquaman: The Becoming is a six-issue miniseries that will shine the spotlight on the DC Universe’s newest Aqualad for the very first time. However, as Jackson’s quickly growing fanbase can tell you, this character symbolizes far more than just the continuation of Aquaman’s legacy. As a Black, gay hero who’s destined—at least according to DC Future State—to mentor and fight alongside the also LGBTQ+ Andy Curry when she eventually becomes Aquawoman.

MD got there first, But Jackson Hyde or Kaldur'ahm was Aqualad...is the son of Black Manta and was a long time member of Young Justice. I actually forgot he is also gay.

So now they have replaced all the big guns with people of color. Superman, Batman, Wonder Woman, Aquaman. Maybe it's high time to make John Stewart a Caucasian and see how that goes. Lol!

+ I've picked up a few of those 80th anniversary issues over the years (everyone is getting one) and they have not been very good. You think you might be getting a retrospective of stories from the last 80 years, but they are just shitty new stories and shitty art for the most part.

I think if I buy any comics from here forward they'll be back issues.

maybe I'll start buying marvel again......or an independent, I don't know but i'm pretty much done with dc and that's saying something.
