Hey fellow Van Halen fans. I,m getting the impression that our wait may soon be over.
Take a look at David Lee Roth's latest "Daily Catastrophe" at the slawterhouse site. It sure seems pretty direct that something huge is going to happen and that the David Lee Roth that we are all waiting for is ready to return. It even implies that something may be on the horizon for New Year's Eve. Maybe I'm reading too much into this but take a look for yourself and post your opinions.

Personally... It gave me a migrane to read it LOL, but yeh, seems interesting. Guess we'll know in about 6 weeks

Shit your right Goo, its only a tiny 6 weeks until New Years! I think they will announce something by or on new years eve. That'd be a great touch - releasing a new album on New Years like they did their last album back in 1983 (or 1984 - whatever!)

I'm starting to get excited now. Timothy B Schmitt (or whatever his name is) over at the DLR ARMY reckons they'll announce it on the 1st of December. But most people think he's full of shit. But true I feel something in the air. I think Dave's release of that "single" thing was another teaser. The day is drawing close folks. YEEEE-HAAAAA

Sorry for posting twice in a row but I just read the daily catastrophe properly and man, I can see relavence to VH is every picture! I'm sure all this silence hasn't sent me that mad but comments like:
1. "Your Writing Ballads"..."its all I could think of"

2. "Dave's trusted chairman of propganda makes an announcemet"

3. "New Years Eve" - In capitals to make it stand out????

4. and of course the biggy "ROTH RETURNS"

All these to me tells us that things are happening and things are really about to happen!!

Concerning the "Daily catastrophe," Vh links resident "insider" said the following about the DLR site and information pertaining to a reunion. This is a direct quote posted on May 25, 2000, from Sherman himself.

As you can see. Sherman said (6 months ago) Van-halen.com is Dave's official website, I guess someone forgot to tell Brad and the band.
So if you believe Sherman than the information at slaughterhouse is BS on the other hand if you believe Slaughterhouse than the information from Sherman is BS.

Keepers schmeeepers. Let's remember, this is Dave's OFFICIAL site. Personally, I believe the Daily Catastrophe to be the direct work of DLR. I'm surprised more folks aren't getting a hard-on over this. Dave is STUFFING it in our faces as far as I'm concerned. "Look at all the People here Tonight" should not be judged as a song, but rather as an announcement. Come on guys, he's talking to us here!!!

That daily catastrophe is so confusing and vague that it could be interpreted to mean absolutely anything. A person could interpret it to mean that Dave is joining Led Zeppelin and find something in there to back it up.
