Hmm...either "Runnin' With The Devil" or "You Really Got Me." Hard to remember now, it was a summer camp bus in 1978 and I was only 7. I remember hearing both songs, which one was first is a too difficult to recall.

For me it was "Jaimie's Cryin'". I was in the eighth grade and at my girlfriend's house. She told me to listen this album of her cousin's band. At the time, I had no idea who the heck they were, all I knew was I loved that song!

Oh BTW, in case he thinks he's fooling anyone, "hiwatt" is Watthi. Gee what a clever acronym.
So this is the first and only post you'll be seeing from 'ole hiwatt.

Al and I are the real Van Halen. There could always be Van Halen as long as it's me and Al. But if there was no Dave, this place would be pretty empty tonight. - EVH during a 1984 pre-concert interview before that night's sold out show

The first song I heard that I knew was from VH was Right Now at a hockey game. That song mesmerized me. From then I've been a VH fan.

You Really Got Me. I was like 4 or 5 and I was watching a movie with my older sisters that had MATT DILLON in it was about troubled teenagers. They were at this party and they were playing VH 1 on the record player.

The first song that I knew was Van Halen's was "Dance The Night Away" - but I might've heard another one before that as I saw the same movie as MXRFLANGE ("Over The Edge") and I don't know if that was before I first heard "Dance The Night Away" or not!

I chatted with Sucka earlier this week. He told me he hasn't been on here in years. I am sure he is happy though that Philly won.
