UYI is good, but it's nothing to write home about. BTS sells a shitload of albums, doesn't mean they are any good.

AFD is a great album, and the rest of their small catalog is good to average (to be kind on CD). Hard to believe they still sell out wherever they go.
Not really, Like I said, the UYL albums really hit with many, many people. I get it, a few of you guys are not huge fans.... But even among hardcore GNR fans, UYL are highly regarded. In places that are equivalent to vhlinks.... http://www.heretodaygonetohell.com/board/index.php https://www.mygnrforum.com/ GNR fan forums getting so much traffic this week, mygnr got overloaded and went down after the Hershey show...

Not saying they aren't popular man, I just don't get it.

One great album, and thirty plus years later they are treated like the greatest rock band in the world, it's kind of weird you have to admit.
If I don't respond to you it means I have you on ignore, which means you are a douchenozzle.

Emperor Brett - "I can't believe you guys are analyzing song-by-song Van Halen III? What next, analyzing the script of Stroker Ace looking for some shred of Citizen Kane?"

David Lee Roth did the impossible. He made Van Halen better. Deal with it!

A man's rights rests in three boxes: the ballot box, the jury box, and the cartridge box

Hurricane Halen - Let's all gingery touch our sword tips!!!

That is what I am trying to tell you.... Lies, UYL I & II resonated a lot more then you think with MILLIONS AND MILLIONS of GnR fans. More then just popular, they think all 3 are great albums.

This may blow you mind..... But I know of many GnR fans (IRL and online) that like UYL better then AFD.... Just like that following that like Van Hagar better then Van Halen. Makes no sense to me personally, but it is out there in large #s.

Not really, they are a semi-reunited huge band, has a lot of hits, plays a high quality show for 3+ hours.

And comparing UYI I & II to AFD is like comparing LZ III to LZ II…same band, different albums and vibe.

Now GNR didn’t follow anything up with a LZ IV, they imploded beforehand.

Yes, grunge came along and demolished the hair band.

But neither GNR nor grunge got rid of Bon Jovi. Can't explain the longevity of that band, but they were successful long after grunge came and went.
