Eddie with Les Paul

I remember seeing a pic of Eddie playing a Les Paul. Just wondering if anybody had a link to any pics of Eddie playing a Les Paul other than what's featured on Van Halen's official site. Thanks

I don't care who or how good of a player EVH is,
but the site of him with a very highly sought after and collectable Les Paul with the neck pickup removed makes me sick. What kind of a moron takes the sweet sounding neck pickup out of a vintage Les Paul! We're talking major money for one of these guitars! Plus the variety in sound that it lost by removing the neck pickup.

Eddie used the LesPaul to play And the cradle will Rock.
There's also a pic of Eddie recieving a guitar from Les Paul. Very cool pic.

I thought he used it on the toggle part of "You Really Got Me". I don't think he ever used the neck pick-up on any guitar back then, Les Paul style or Strat style. You need to remember that while those guitars were still pretty valuable back then, they didn't explode to the higher prices until years later, some say right about the time Slash and BnR were hitting it big.

Yeah, but Eddie's gotta have the "image" of one pickup only in the bridge

lol, he probably spend half an hour fucking around getting it out of there when he could have just left it there - for cosmetic reasons if anything. I hate the look of a les paul without the neck pickup

Nah the Shark ( cover of WACF ) is the guitars he used for YRGM, also for the rythm in Jamies Cryin' and anything else thet doesn't have a whammy bar on it on the first record, well so he says so take it for what it's worth.
