Joe Buck said Nita Strauss was the bass player for Alice on the game last night lol. This is a pretty weak song with decent lyrics. But its Alice so who cares.

Sounds like a Patridge Family song.

Great show as always! Ace Frehley was better than I expected as an opener.

A clean and sober Ace could always play well. He was the only reason I ever went to see those guys. Although I enjoyed the pyro stuff and of course the girls. I never was into AC never saw him back in the day but he put out some good stuff just never saw the guy. Maybe if I had saw him as an opening act for someone but by the time I was like 16 and going to gigs he was already a big headliner.

    Talking

This is a good interview of Alice with Sammy Hagar. They also perform School's Out after it.

Sammy was really annoyed when Alice went on Hollywood Squares.

I cross-posted this in the Red Rocker thread.

In 1972, I saw him in the backstage area of the Dallas Memorial Auditorium, holding a bottle of Budweiser, just before he was to go onstage. I yelled out to him and he raised his beer in a salute to me.

They performed the "Killer" album. That was, and still is, in my Top 5 Greatest Rock Concerts that I have ever been to, of all time.

I went to that concert alone, because none of my HS friends had enough R&R smarts to go. But that was an "event" and I didn't need friends there to savor it.

By 1973, and two albums later, Alice was in over his head for the BBB Tour, with his alcoholism.

He's been sober now for over 30 years.

As a marker, no Alice show I've ever seen has topped the shows with the original band.
There was magic there that cannot be replicated, no matter the hired guitars.

There was that time very early on with AC that he ruled the roost of rock. He was up there with Zep and Bowie etc. He had a resurgence in the 80s but he has stayed relevant and has diversified the whole time.
