    Help me on my Whitesnake history. Wasn't the original version of this song recorded with John Sykes on lead?

    Might be Micky Moody's best achievement as a guitar player. Perfect blend of blues and hard rock to me.

    Of course. Itís on WS87. That single version had a shitty solo overdubbed by Vivian Campbell, since he was in the touring lineup at the time. And had probably copped some flack for simply miming you Sykesí stuff on previous video singles Still of the Night and Is This Love.

    on the 87 album yes he does.

    it might have appeared on an earlier WS record, Coverdale didn't mind re-recording older songs

    Was co-written by Sykes for the 87 album, it wasnít a remake.
