The real reason we have to wait for VH?

This just occurred to me while reading another post that mentioned EVH and Val divorcing and EVH possible having to pay big $$$ for alimony:

Obviously, EVH has known for awhile that Val was going to be leaving.
Obviously, he knows if she is going to drain his bank account.

Could he be waiting until the divorce is final, or separation papers are signed to get either Dave or Sammy back and start making lots of money again?
I think that may be the case; if they are still married and no separation agreement, then she's still entitled to half of his $$$. Maybe he doesn't want to make any more so she won't get half of whatever his next project pays him.

I'm not sure of the law in CA, but here, once a legal separation agreement has been signed, it's just like you're not married, except you have to wait a year before you file for divorce.
Could this be the hold up?

Could be. We just have to wait and see what happens. Eventually VH will be back in some shape or form but what will it be is another question? NO NEWS IS GOOD NEWS (yeah right). I had to throw that in.

This theory isn't new. Personally I don't believe it though, I think things haven't progressed at all because the principle players just aren't motivated to come to terms with each other.

Anyway, it's a topic best suited to the Speculation Forum, so I'm going to send it over there now. [img]smile.gif[/img]
