Whatever happened with Donn Landee? I remember that he and Ed were so tight for a long time and then he just disappeared. Does anyone know the real story?

The OU812 disaster was pretty much the end of it. But Ed has said in subsequent interviews that the two are still friends, so who knows.

What do you mean by diaster? I think it is a great album with the exception of "Feels So Good" and "Apolitical Blues". But thanks for a little info about Donn Landee. [img]smile.gif[/img]

It is widely known that the band was not happy at all with the production (not the songs themselves) on OU812. There is almost no audible bass on the record and that was a sore spot with Eddie and the guys, so they decided that it was time for the parties to move on after recording 8 albums together.
