Seriously, I don't know about the payment options. I DO know that their magazine output makes use of the Human (1 Year) to Dog (7 Years) ratio for delivery.

Supposing that they are waiting for the announcement, it's been at least 6 months since our last issue. Being that we're supposed to get one every 3 months, we should have had one three months ago, and then the one to coincide with the announcement.

I just found the invoice sheet they sent me when I subscribed to the INSIDE last year. They sent my first issue (#15, which they told me on the phone was already out before I even ordered) on January 31, 2000. So issue #15 came out before that, but since I don't know it's exact release date we'll say it came out on January 31, 2000.

Now, I just did a forum search and someone mentioned having issue #16 of the INSIDE on July 31, 2000.

And here comes January 31, 2001 and no issue #17 yet.

At some point in the last year (where we've gotten only 1 issue), the INSIDE head honchos should have made the decision to say "we've got to get a new magazine to our subscribers, and if we release one and VH announces a week later, them's the brakes".

And the VanHalenStore website still shows the INSIDE as being a quarterly publication. Which I guess means that another quarter of my life will pass before I get another magazine from them.

I've got all the INSIDE mags except #2 and 3.
There has been alot of stuff in them that you won't read anywhere else. Definitly not a waste of money.

You are correct Glenn. The last one arrived in July 2000. The one before that in November 1999. Before that they arrived within 3-4 months of each other.

And yes there could have been one in between the last one and the one we're expecting. I think they should of at least given the subscribers a reassurance as to when the hell we'll be getting it. I've HEARD Jan, Feb, and March.

Yeah they do a good job so I won't slam them too hard. But their lack of speed on getting out each issue on time is really starting to wear thin on myself as well as others. They could easily put an issue out every three months. They know this I'm sure. . I would imagine that there is more to the story than meets the eye. "Hurry up already!" "We're dying overhere." Out.

The last issue that i got(all black cover & question mark)came with a white cover on it that said the next issue(coverage of the second world tour)was to be out in october with another issue soon to follow. i e-mailed the inside and asked them what the status of the issue was and they replied that it would be out the first of the year. now i read on this board that it was pushed back again till february. if they are unofficial now, they should have tons of stuff to write about and pictures to print.

Maybe underneath that big "question mark" on the last cover it should have said "Just try to guess when you'll get the next one".

On the plus side, I still have 5 issues left on my subscription so that should last me another 4 or 5 years.
