    Agree.

I know a lot of us lament how low the bar is set in politics, etc, but society in general too. Hollywood. It's madness that two words (if you can even call those words) can go so viral like it's a good thing or it's funny. Everything is just so base in this world.

Yeah, it's ridiculous that her two words gave her a moment. But given today's world, it's not surprising.
What did surprise me is that Maher had her on his podcast. He seems to rail against that type of shit but then he goes and does that.

I was reading about her appearance on Maher. Article said she was reportedly paid 30 grand for judging a bikini contest

    Life is great.

You ever think, why am I paying for all these streaming sites that I never watch anyway? Had to make a Sophie's Choice. Netflix or resubscribe to Apple Music? I need music more than I need movies. I'm more a Prime guy anyway. Netflix doesn't give me free shipping on $5 purchase of Spam.

People in Mississippi blame gas station for violence and want the gas station shutdown:

So.... They want to run business out of their community because of crime... Because I guess they think criminals will just disappear?

Don't hire more cops or elect people that will Crack down on crime. Instead, blame the store.

You just know these people vote dem.

I don't know what people see in Bill Maher. Even when he is right in something, often times he is behind people that already knew it as being the right position along time ago.

I'm not going to call him dumb, but he isn't this genius that is ahead of the curve. I'm not saying he is as bad as people like Jimmy Kimmel or Stephen Colbert, because he isn't. But he isn't that great either.

I watched a few minutes of it. Then turned it off. Bill has some goofy guests on.

It's very strange that girl got this famous. But the catch me outside girl is a multi-millionare now. So it doesn't take talent to be famous anymore. Look at the Kardashians.

    Agree.

I've never liked the guy. He gets a lot of praise as if he's brave for calling out Dems every now and then. BFD.

He is what he is. A partisan hack just like the rest of us. No offense, "independents."

And a comedian who isn't funny, btw. The older I got, the more I appreciated and laughed at the rapid-fire jokes of a Dangerfield, etc. Ever see him on Carson in the 70s? Ffs, nonstop like a machine. Take my wife, please. I don't like social commentary comedy. I just want silly jokes.

Agree that I don't care for Maher's stand up. Never did.

Yeah, you can't get much better than Dangerfield or Rickles on Carson's show.

We all have our own opinions. No one is calling him a genius, or even "that great."

However, I've always enjoyed Maher's show Real Time. Sometimes it's annoying, sometimes it's really good, most of the time, though, it's interesting and entertaining, IMO.
