I just find it very odd and quite a coincidence that he is found dead in the middle of a swamp. I just don't buy that an avid outdoorsmen died in the woods from natural causes.
If I don't respond to you it means I have you on ignore, which means you are a douchenozzle.

If it is him, he probably went out there and killed himself.

Netflix employees stage walkout over Dave Chappelle special

The workers, who are organized by "Team Trans," believe the special is transphobic and are calling for Netflix to remove it and commit to releasing more "intersectional" content.

Mass firings is what should happen. You cannot allow the staff to dictate corporate policy or you're stuck forever. Commit to removing money makers and commit to releasing stuff no one will watch isn't how you make money.

Unfortunately I think here in the U.S. we have already allowed it to go too far. To turn it around at this point will make many look extremely bad and gives more fuel to the whiners.

If anything, it's certainly publicizing Chappelle's new special. I may have checked it out before, but now I'm definitely going to watch it.

...as long as it hasn't been removed yet...

It's good and actually ends with a pretty heartwarming/heartbreaking story of a trans comic that opened for Chapelle. If he's the problem then clearly you're dealing with people who will never be happy.

Oh hell no. They are a protected class. You fire them and you will have a giant ass lawsuit that you have to settle out of court (after all those involved firing them are they themselves let go), not to mention the bad press that comes along with it. This is why corporation after corporation bends itself over backwards to look as woke as possible. It's not because they really believe this shit, it's that they're too scared to take a stand against the idiocy because they will be crucified in the court of public opinion.

When I say the court of public opinion, what I really mean is the court of social media where a small number of people shouting into the ether can sound like a chorus of anger.

On a somewhat related note, I was reading an article recently on the push for more diversity in corporations and there was a company in Silicon Valley that was used as the example. One of the topics their Chief Diversity Officer discussed was about how she had to make people understand it wasn't a zero sum game, meaning that just because they were consciously trying to hire and promote diverse candidates that it didn't mean candidates that didn't fall into those buckets wouldn't get equal opportunity. The fuck it isn't. There are only so many VP, Manager, and Director jobs. Being in HR I've sat in a number of meetings where they talk about how they see good numbers on diversity on the entry level jobs, but golly, we've really got to do better at the Director level. You know what that means? Every white male that is an applicant has a strike against them at that point. The hiring teams will feel pressure to hire a diversity candidate and will give every leniency possible during the interview to make sure it happens.

The fact that no one pushes back against that type of thinking when they see it happening right in front of them is the same phenomenon. Actually, there was one guy that did at Google several years back. He became headline news and lost his job.
CNN may think my opinion matters, but you shouldn't.

I feel for the parents of Gabby and the fact that piece of shit coward and his parents are never going to be made to face the music for the crime he committed and the one they helped him “get away with”.

And we’re probably going to see his parents and their lawyer coming out saying how tragic his death is and how they just wanted their boy back home.

That’s going to be tough for Petito’s parents to stomach. I know it would be if she was my Daughter.

At least the Laundries were able to get one last camping trip in with their adult son before he felt like going for a stroll in the nature preserve on the Tuesday...wait it was actually Monday....

There was a lot more to that case that pointed to the parents. Him finding her was just the tip of the iceberg.

How those parents got off is really extraordinary.

    Via CNN:

According to Bertolino, Laundrie's parents informed the FBI and the North Port Police Department on Tuesday night that they wanted to visit the park Wednesday morning to search for their son.

Law enforcement met them there and closely accompanied them as they entered the park, Bertolino said.

"As they went further in, Chris ventured off the trail into the woods. He was zigzagging in different areas, law enforcement was doing the same thing. And Roberta Laundrie was walking down the trail," Bertolino said. "At some point, Chris locates what's called a dry bag. The dry bag is a white bag, laying in the woods, say 20 feet or so off the trail."

The dry bag was in some brambles and he didn't want to move it because he wanted his law enforcement to see it, Bertolino said. However, Chris Laundrie couldn't find law enforcement and didn't want to leave the bag there with a news reporter standing nearby, so he picked it up, Bertolino explained.

    So suspicious.

They just happened to pick the day his body was found to decide to go to the reserve?

And the Father just happens to stumble upon a bag belonging to his son 20 feet off the trail?

At the same time, it could all be coincidental.

    Also.

It took 2 days for authorities to identify Petito’s body. It took less than 24 hrs to identify this guy with dental filings that were found with a skeleton.

I find that interesting as well.
