Part of the outrageous ticket pricing is due to resellers on TM and places like Stubhub plus the loathsome scheme of "dynamic pricing" where tickets prices go up and down day to day depending on perceived interest. But a big share of that problem is also down to Springsteen Inc who have insane ticket prices at face value, plus they could if they wanted, actually prohibit reselling at least on TM like some bands do such as Iron Maiden, etc. Add to that, Springsteen has previously been pretty vocal about supporting the common guy and keeping his ticket prices reasonable. When this tour was announced, Springsteen and his manager basically embraced jacking ticket prices to such ridiculous prices alienating many of his long time hardcore fans with such hypocrisy.

Back when Backstreets used to publish a regular fanzine a few decades ago leading up to the rise of internet fan sites, it was the gold standard for what a music artist fanzine could be. When the magazine stopped being published in physical form, the website gradually became more and more of a grotesque Springsteen ass-kissing affair and their fan forum, BTX was really among the worst of the worst, especially the political forum that was populated by ultra Liberal freaks that really went off the cliff during the Trump era. It's really no surprise the guy(s) running the site are burned out, I could see it coming for a few years.
