Had a Cybertruck behind me yesterday (during the day)... the headlights had me baffled in the rear view mirror. Never even noticed the actual headlights at all. Now I know.

I snore sometimes but i dont do anything about it, my wife doesnt really complain so its all good.

I snore only when I fall asleep on my back. Normally I sleep face down on my stomach but sometimes if I'm really tired and conk out maybe reading or watching tv, I'll saw wood at 100db. The good thing(?!?) is my wife is the same way, she can snore like a champ too so it all balances out. Even our Labrador snores so on certain rare nights, it's a symphony of snoring.

An Australian court sentenced a prescription drug-dependent bus driver Wednesday to 32 years in prison for a wedding bus crash which killed 10 people and injured 25.

Brett Andrew Button, 59, who was at the wheel of a coach when it flipped over in June 2023 as it was bringing 35 wedding guests to their hotel in New South Wales' Hunter Valley wine region, was speeding and impaired from a large dose of the opioid Tramadol in his system.

He escaped a manslaughter trial after accepting a plea bargain in which prosecutors dropped 10 manslaughter charges in exchange for a guilty plea to 10 counts of causing death by dangerous driving, nine counts of dangerous driving causing grievous bodily harm, and 16 counts of causing bodily harm by "furious driving."

I just got the call, my dad's died. My last remaining parent. I'm an adult, independent, own home, own life yet I feel alone and like a child. Your parents are there your whole life - until they're not. I'm guessing that those of you that have been through the same understand this discombobulating feeling and sense of vulnerability. Just so...numb. That safety net that's always been there forever...gone. I've never needed my parents help since being an adult, never got myself in a pickle that I needed bailing out, but there was the security of knowing it was there if needed.

Anyway, sorry for posting this here, and for posting it at all, I didn't know where else to post it and just needed to put it out there.

I get what you mean. My parents actually did have to bail me out a few times. But the safety net aspect I get. My dad died in 2012 and it just wrecked me. Just blew up my life. It wasn’t the safety net then it was just unexpected.

They say when a parent dies, the child inside you does as well. I can attest to that.
