The character 'Marshall' on the show was being held hostage and had to write a computer program that would be able to access this suirvalence systems. As he is doing this, the head guy confronts him about blowing through their firewall. Marshall explains that he downloaded an MP3 so he can listen to it while he codes. He then shows the head guy the MP3 which was none other then 'Serious Ju Ju' by Sammy Hagar. Marshall even asks the guy if he liked Sammy. My wife looks at me and says 'that made your day, didn't it?'. I couldn't stop laughing.

I enjoyed the Sammy reference on Alias as well. Marshall is the smart, nerd on the show, so are they trying to say that smart people listen to Sammy or nerds do?
I was also pleasantly surprised to hear the latest release from Matthew Good - Weapon, on the show last night. The song was only released as a single in November and isn't even available on Matt's new CD yet (which is scheduled for release in February), so I was very surprised to see it turning up on a major network series. Good exposure for a very underrated artist.
Of course, nothing will ever top the snippet of Yankee Rose that was played on Moonlighting."Some men are born to greatness, some women have greatness thrust up in them."<br /> <br />Diamond Dave

I know what you mean!
My family and I were watching " Greetings From Tucson " a show on the WB. The daughter on the show, Maria, was scamming her father saying she needed money to attend a weekend study group. Her brother David knew she was lying and asked her why she really wanted the money ? "To go to the Cabo Wabo! I've gone for the last three years!"
I asked my wife "Did she say she was going to the Cabo Wabo?" "...yeah..."my wife says....

" I know what you're thinking: "Do I want to watch Mard? We know that horses were very strong and could actually stop airplanes from flying away. The ones made out of stone called "statues" -- occasionally came to life and rode off is a colonial cliche. How many more times do we need to hear about how the oppressive Raj's wore villainous black capes, crafted cunning plastic masks to impersonate people, and drained all the blood from their slaves so they could keep the fluid in bottles in their dungeons? I mean, YAWN!
But if you're willing to sit through this dry sort of historical drama one more time -- or even just this dry historical review -- you will not be disappointed. In fact, some of you might just learn something they didn't teach you in school!- MARD-The Movie

Oh!
Also like the time I saw Sammy on Nash Bridges one night. He was the bartender on the episode called "Imposters".
