If MJ is the real deal, how will it play out?

When he/she said that the announcement will be made so the fans that range from 15-50 years old will know at the same time just what was meant by that?
It sounded to me like it would be some sort of big TV event (ie: AMA's) definately not TRL or any MTV program.
He/she also made it sound like that we will hear the first single at the time of the announcement, maybe they will perform it or could it be possible that they will go on Howard Stern ( who will be on Vacation during the holidays and return just after New Years) and help him usher in his new contract?
Lots of Hmmmm's here.
