I would like to know your opinions on the following videos
Baltimore MD 1982
Lago MD 1982
US Festival 1983
Beunos Aires Argentina 1983
Montreal Canada 1984
Which out of these is best? Which ones can i find that are pro shot and are of good quality, and are there an more from the Roth days that i have left out? Oh yeah, and there is supposed to be an upgraded version of the US Festival out, has anyone seen it?

Argentina is good if you can get a good quality version, but it does some cuts in it from commercials
Baltimore/Washington is good, but I can hardly hear Mike's bass on my copy--it gets pretty wild towards the end of it.
US Fest--one big party, Dave's kinda scratchy on it, but after he does a couple of shots of Jack and a few lines of coke he gets warmed up
(all the above are multi cam pro shot)
Montreal 84 was the biggest let-down for me. I got this one after I had the other 3 and it was 1 camera from the nosebleeds--still cool but not what I was expecting

You know what sucks about most the DLR era videos....that the whole thing focuses on Dave 90% of the time. Even when Ed is soloing, the camera only shows Dave dancing around on stage, they very rarely show Ed. Anyone else notice this? The US Festival does show the band a bit more, but even that one is way too much DLR. Not that I don't like DLR's antics, but geez, to not show equally is a crime, even back then.

I've only got a couple of live vids, but I know what you mean. I was watching a South American one yesterday and when Ed goes into the Ice Cream Man solo (the greatest EVH solo ever), they don't show him, they show Dave and Mikey dancing around with their guitars.
