Pollstar top 50 tours

Has anyone checked out Pollstar's top 50 requested tours? No sign of the Sam and Dave shows when i'd expect them to be at least in the top 10..

Any idea how the list is compiled?

I don't have any idea myself. I'm very surprised to find artists like Cinderella on the list but not Sam & Dave.

Those "top tours" lists usually get compiled based upon the number of searches people do for a particular act on the website. Not at all reflective of sales or true popularity. I would say the fact that Ticketmaster has it listed as a Hot Tour means more.

I never visit Pollstar, so I don't have any idea how they rank things.
