I have heard from a very reliable source (believe it or not, I don't care) that Ed Van Halen is nowhere near 100% recovery, there has been new cancer found (sad news, but true), and we will not be hearing anything new from the band anytime soon.

Not to be pessimistic, but unfortunately that is the news.
