Yes they sound better.

Bass is louder and the overall volume of the entire CD is louder. The clarity of the music seems better too.

Yes, absolutely. I have several of them (still need to get off my ass and get VH1 and 1984 remastered) and they just pop out of my stereo. It's classic VH the way it was meant to be heard.

Do yourself a favor and get them...

If nothing else get The Diver down Remaster. I don't have the WACF remaster yet but I like the rawness of that album I don't want it to be cleaned up any. Weird I know.

Not weird at all dude, I am with you all the way on this. In those days Ed was pissed off and hungry and it showed in his tone. I have the remixes and like them because they are much fuller but still don't like the really old stuff pretty'd up.

I recommend getting all six. I'm still waiting for the Hagar remasters though.

Here's a question... I may be musically dumb, and will be the first to admit it, but even though the album isn't very old, could VH3 be "remastered"? I've noticed a lot of ppls complaints here, besides bad music or vocals, was that the mix was bad. Could this be, considering the album isn't old, fixed?
    Just curious folks......

There's a big difference. These remasters bring you much closer to how the original albums sounded.

For me, DD & VH2 needed it the most, then FW & WACF to a lesser extent, then VH & 1984 the least out of the six.

At the end of Hot For Teacher (on the original CD), you can hear Dave go "WHOA" (barely)--but on the remaster, I haven't heard it.

I bought all 6 in a set when they came out from some VH website (VHND?). I forget how much, but I think it was a package deal.
