Is it worth it to buy any of the WB Remasters?
Do any of them sound that much different?
Still contemplating?!?

Yes they sound better.
Bass is louder and the overall volume of the entire CD is louder. The clarity of the music seems better too.Webmaster

Yes, absolutely. I have several of them (still need to get off my ass and get VH1 and 1984 remastered) and they just pop out of my stereo. It's classic VH the way it was meant to be heard.
Do yourself a favor and get them...

If nothing else get The Diver down Remaster. I don't have the WACF remaster yet but I like the rawness of that album I don't want it to be cleaned up any. Weird I know.

Yes, specially if you listen to them in your car!

I recommend getting all six. I'm still waiting for the Hagar remasters though.

i have VH II, WACF and DD on remasters. Since i dont have state of the art equip., the biggest difference i notice is it plays alot louder.
The problem with self-improvement is knowing when to quit...DLR

Here's a question... I may be musically dumb, and will be the first to admit it, but even though the album isn't very old, could VH3 be "remastered"? I've noticed a lot of ppls complaints here, besides bad music or vocals, was that the mix was bad. Could this be, considering the album isn't old, fixed?
Just curious folks......Minnesota Vikings KICK ASS!!!! All other teams get their water.

For me, DD & VH2 needed it the most, then FW & WACF to a lesser extent, then VH & 1984 the least out of the six.
At the end of Hot For Teacher (on the original CD), you can hear Dave go "WHOA" (barely)--but on the remaster, I haven't heard it.LIGHT 'EM UP!! <br />Smoke 'em if you got 'em!<br /><br /><a href="http://vhstrungout.com" target="_blank">StrungOut</a> Administrator<br /><a href="http://ClassicVanHalen.com" target="_blank">ClassicVH</a> / <a href="http://diamonddavidleeroth.com" target="_blank">Diamond Dave</a> Moderator

I bought all 6 in a set when they came out from some VH website (VHND?). I forget how much, but I think it was a package deal.

Runaway is one of those songs that are so 80's love it. Just like Jump reminds me of the 80's.
