Michael is currently spending some quality R & R time with his family in Hawaii enjoying the surf, fresh Ahi and that smooth tropical weather - and...he's decided to re-join the party next week and hook up with Sammy Hagar for a few shows at the tail end of the Heavyweight Champs of Rock and Roll tour!
In addition to the New York show at Irving Plaza on August 29, Michael will be performing with the Red Rocker on three additional shows! Check it out below:

Wow!!! What awesome news!!! If only he'd play with Dave too...Mikey has always been the Van Halen mascot. I've never seen him live, but I've watched concerts and the man is a showman. Can't wait!!!

Those two should do a record together. I'm sure Mike has a lot of ideas and songs he's been wanting to do for years. How cool would that be? Especially since it sounds like the "Planet Us" project is fizzling out.
