Van Halen and the Mafia

For some reason I started to think about the similarities between Van Halen and the Mafia.

1.) Both have a strick code of silence.

2.) Both don't care what anybody thinks. The mafia, the law. VH, the fans.

3.) Both have an extremely tight inner circle. The mafia, the family. VH, Brad

4.) Both hold grudges for long periods of time.

5.) If you speak badly about either of them "you better be wearin a cup."

6.) Both have a tendency to bend the truth.

7.) Both say one thing and do another.

8.) Both are rarely seen in public. The mafia, at a restaurant. EVH, at a golf course.

9.) Both have ruthless associates. The mafia, the underboss. VH, Valerie.

10.) Finally, people talk shit about both behind their backs. However, those same people would be kissing their ass if they were ever in front of them. [img]graemlins/thumb.gif[/img]

Now that you mention it, the Pasture Dump used to have a mafia theme going on when it first started. You were a Foot Soldier or a patsy or something like that, then a Henchman, then a Mafioso. Coincidence? Maybe, maybe not
