Is anybody else going to this show tonight? Hopefully Ralph will bust into Love Rocket from that great Discover Card commercial.

They were incredible!!! Ralph looks, sounds and acts like David Lee Roth. The bass player and drummer were excellent.
However, the guy that stole the show was the guitar player. I think his name is Brian Young. I couldn't believe how good this guy is. He nailed seemingly every note of every song. He was absolutely phenomenal. I've never seen Bart Walsh play, but I can't imagine that he could be any better than this guy. Everybody was just blown away by his playing.
Here's the list of songs they played. They were not in this order.
Runnin' With The Devil
Eruption
You Really Got Me
A'int Talkin' 'Bout Love
I'm The One (the guitar player nailed it!)
Jamie's Cryin'
Ice Cream Man
On Fire (they opened with this)
Dance The Night Away
Somebody Get Me A Doctor (this one ruled!)
Spanish Fly (as part of Eruption)
Beautiful Girls
Everybody Wants Some
Mean Street Intro (as part of Eruption)
Sinner's Swing!
Hear About It Later (awesome!)
Unchained
So This Is Love?
Pretty Woman
Panama
Hot For Teacher (the last song)
I will definitely go see these guys again. For anyone who hasn't been, you've got to go. I seriously couldn't stop from smiling the whole time they were playing. It was so cool!"It's so lonely at the top because it's so crowded at the bottom" - Diamond David Lee Roth
"The truth sounds like hate to those who hate the truth" - Todd Wagner

The only thing I found dissapointing last night was having to suffer through WrathChild. Quite possibly the worst tribute band I've ever seen. I'm still wondering why they were'nt the first ones on. Other than that, great show and the H.o.B. was a great place to see them.

WhiteBoy,
I agree with you 100% on WrathChild. They were awful. During the middle portion of "Number of the Beast" it sounded like they were all playing different songs. And what was with the guitar on the intro to "Run to the Hills"? I think I could have come closer than that. They were very hard on the ears."It's so lonely at the top because it's so crowded at the bottom" - Diamond David Lee Roth

Once played a gig with Wrathchild, they were the first of 4 bands. They were terrible. Frankly that chick can't sing Maiden at all, but her husband or boyfriend was like a big burley Harley-looking metalhead, I wasn't gonna tell her that. The lead guitarist thought he was "the shit," which is pretty damn funny.
I told you the AP's rule Coulda, glad you had fun. Webmaster

Thanks Brett,
I think I'm going to go see them again next month at The Shack in Anaheim. I'm going to take my sister (DLR-era fan) and her husband (Sammy-era fan). He'll be a little disappointed at the number of Sammy songs the A.P.'s play! LOL"It's so lonely at the top because it's so crowded at the bottom" - Diamond David Lee Roth

I just checked out their official site and listened to some sound clips. They're pretty good! I wonder if they ever play in Oregon?

That sucks. Looking at their tour dates, it seems like they only play in Southern California. "It's so damn hot... milk was a bad choice." --Ron Burgundy, Anchorman

Hey Seen and Dan,
The Punks are truly amazing! I can't wait to see them again. They're my new favorite band while I wait for EVH and DLR to get their shit together.
